Terrific Time in Tucson

Spectacular weather embraced the Tucson Celtic Festival and Scottish Highland Games, November 5 & 6.

Majestic Mount Lemmon, at over 9000 feet, dominated the beautiful Santa Catalina Mountains, and provided a great backdrop for the games. The Whisky Tent was a popular venue, as all our seminars and tastings filled to capacity, and beyond! Guests enjoyed The Glenrothes, Bowmore, Glen Grant, and Auchentoshan, all thanks to the generosity of SKYY Spirits. Whether the whisky was bold and smoky, delectably spicy, or somewhere in between, each turned out to be someone’s favorite … exactly as it should be. “I can taste it with my nose” was heard many times, as guests learned to nose the whisky while keeping their mouths open, to enhance the experience. This technique seemed to be the key learning of the weekend.
