Columbia Tower Club, Seattle, WA

On a clear day, 75 dizzying floors above downtown Seattle, the view is fabulous! Mount Rainier, the Cascade and Olympic Mountain ranges, Puget Sound, Sea-Tac Airport,  Boeing Field, the Qwest and Safeco sports complexes, and the Space Needle all pop out to meet the eye. Looking down on single-engine pontoon planes scurrying over the water is indeed an unusual and fascinating sight!

Columbia Tower Club is part of ClubCorp, and is a membership only venue. Several spaces within the club are available, however, for private functions, and the observation deck on the 73rd floor is open to the public.

The whisky selection is extensive. Our small group enjoyed a corner table, seafood hors d’oeuvres and an eclectic selection of drinks: Maker’s Mark mint julep, Glenlivet Archive XXV, Auchentoshan Three Wood, and a Talisker 15.
